Technique: Hand stitched.
Medium: Hand dyed silk on canvas.

This fractal image resembles a lobster tail and purple is the colour of royalty.

This is where the two spirals meet. The French knots are embroidered in silk ribbon and embroidery floss. The spirals are outlined with hand quilting. The edge of the piece is frayed and then stitched onto silver painted stretched canvas.
