Pattern: Original fractal design extracted from Julia Set.
Technique: Machine stitched.
Medium: Machine stitched using silk, polyester and hand dyed and commercially printed fabric.

Where did all the fat come from, the cellulite, the double chin, the dangle under the arms, the disappearing waist? Whatever happened to the lithe and slim young body? Middle age came and the grease set in.

The word Grease is machine quilted all over the piece, raising dimples which look like cellulite.

Here you can see the machine quilting crossing cotton lamé to copper coloured silk fabric.
