A small sample anamorphic quilt using the design of a cat. Catoptric conical perspective is used. The quilt reflects a morphed cat onto a conical mirror.
Commercially printed cotton is cut into shape and hand appliquéd onto the background.
The morphed cat is outlined with hand quilting.
The conical mylar mirror is stitched onto the background with smoky nylon thread. You can see the cat reflected in the cone.
